Another explanation is that English is a foregn language for me, so I'm not good at it yet and it doesn't sound natural when you read it.

oh my gosh guess what!!!! i had a clarinet solo this morning and i got a 2 on it! they're on a scale of 1-5 (5 is the worst), and *1 means you go to state. i was really scared and messed up a LOT but i had a nice judge, so he gave me a 2! i'm so happy, i'm telling everyone! here's what the song sounds like when it's played by someone who is actually good at it. OBVIOUSLY i wasn't as good as she was, and i didn't have a band, just me. but that's the song.
